How it works

  1. Step 1

    Open the group event planner

Pick the group size, the vibe, a rough budget and how much effort you want it to be. No account screen appears at any point.

  2. Step 2

Get a plan you can paste

You get a named plan with a time, a place type, a cost signal, a weather fallback and a minimum headcount so one person bailing does not kill it.

  3. Step 3

    Send it with a deadline

Copy the message, add a reply-by date, and send. A deadline is the difference between a plan and a conversation.

  4. Step 4

    Put it on a calendar

Use the meetup calendar scheduler to turn it into a calendar invite everyone can accept, so it stops living in a chat thread.

Why plans die in the group chat

It is almost never lack of interest. It is four missing decisions: nobody is the organizer, the question was open-ended (“when is everyone free?” is unanswerable with five calendars), there is no reply deadline, and the plan requires all six people to show.

A usable plan fixes all four in five lines: one author, one proposed time plus a backup, a stated minimum headcount, and a date by which you need an answer. That is exactly the shape the free planner produces.

Keep the first one cheap, close and walk-in. Ambitious plans belong to groups that already hang out constantly.

What else is free here

The group event planner and calendar scheduler are part of a set of twelve free tools: conversation starters for the blank first message, an LA hangout idea generator, a birthday party planner with a budget estimate and timeline, a card maker and letter generator, a friendship-focused bio generator, a name generator, a business idea generator, a browser-only picture editor and a printable meetup safety checklist.

All of them are free in the ordinary sense of the word: no account, no email, no phone number, no trial, no locked output. They exist because they are the same problems the BRUH app solves, just further upstream.

And if you don't have people to send the plan to yet

That is the harder half, and it is what the BRUH app is for: an adults-only (18+), all-genders platonic social app where you can see who nearby is actually free, drop into a group video room first, and join local plans that already have a time attached. No swiping, no matches, no dating.

Frequently asked

Is the planner actually free?
Yes. It runs in your browser with no account, no email, no phone number and no payment. There is no locked result and no watermark.
Do you store what I type?
No. Everything is generated on your device and nothing you enter is sent to a server or saved. We count anonymous page views and how many plans were generated — never the contents.
Can I get a calendar invite out of it?
Yes. The meetup calendar scheduler produces a standard calendar file you can send to anyone, and it works with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook.
Does it work outside Los Angeles?
The planner is location-neutral, so it works anywhere. Only the LA hangout idea generator is built around specific Los Angeles areas.
Do I need a BRUH account for any of this?
No. An account is only useful if you also want the people part — seeing who nearby is free and joining plans that already exist.
