The problem

• Going alone. Plenty of people buy a ticket to a festival or club night with nobody to go with, and going solo keeps them home or leaves them standing alone all night.
• Planning is scattered. The plan lives across a ticket app, a group chat, a comment section and a story reply, so nobody has the whole picture.
• Getting there and back. Rideshare at 2am after a show is expensive and, alone, it feels unsafe.

What BRUH is

• LA 18+ social discovery. A platonic friendship platform, currently in beta in Los Angeles.
• Approximate neighborhoods only. The map never shows an exact location — only a randomized approximate area.
• Local Board — free. Post and reply to what is happening around you.
• Messenger — free, unlimited. No message caps during the beta.
• Events discovery and RSVP. Find real events; the exact meeting spot is revealed to attendees only.
• Friend Codes & QR. Add someone in person without handing over a phone number or email.
• Rooms — coming soon. Live text rooms around a moment or an event.
• Scam Shield. Helps members spot the common scams that target people meeting new friends online.

Example use case: festivals, raves & EDM events

An illustrative concept of how BRUH supports the attendee journey around a large event — for example a multi-day show at a Long Beach or downtown LA venue:

1. 1. Discover the event. It shows up on the Board and the LA calendar, with the organizer or venue credited.
2. 2. Join a topic. Solo ravers, Coming from LA, First time going, Friday crew, Saturday crew, Pre-party meetup, After-party crew, LGBTQ+ meetup, Rideshare groups.
3. 3. Find your crew. See other 18+ attendees in that topic — approximate neighborhood only, never an address.
4. 4. Coordinate. Free unlimited messaging to agree on a time, an entrance and a ride.
5. 5. Arrive safer. Meet the group at a spot only attendees can see, with reporting, blocking and Incognito available the whole time.
