CHILD SAFETY STANDARDS

BRUH is available only to people who are at least 18 years old. Every account must supply a date of birth at sign-up, which we use solely to enforce the 18+ rule; it is never displayed to other members. Accounts we confirm to belong to a minor are terminated.

The following are strictly prohibited on BRUH and result in removal:

• Child sexual abuse or exploitation of any kind.
• Grooming — building a relationship with a minor for sexual purposes.
• Sexualization of a minor, including in text, images, video, drawings, or AI-generated material.
• Romantic or sexual relationships between an adult and a minor.
• Producing, soliciting, acquiring, storing, sharing, or linking to child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
• Sextortion of a minor, or trafficking of a minor.
• Any other conduct that endangers a child.

Every profile, Local Board post, message, meetup and Room in BRUH has a Report control. Choose Child safety concern for any suspected CSAE or CSAM, Underage participant if you believe someone is under 18, or Sexual content or solicitation for sexual content or solicitation — say in the optional details if a minor is involved. Submit and the report reaches BRUH moderators immediately.

A reporter’s identity is never shown to the reported member or to other members. Reports are visible only to the reporter and to BRUH moderators and administrators.

• Every child-safety report is reviewed by a human moderator, prioritized ahead of other reports.
• Accounts we confirm to belong to a minor are terminated and the associated data deleted, except limited safety records described in our Privacy Policy.
• Content we confirm to be CSAM is removed and preserved as required by law, and the account is permanently banned.
• Confirmed CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through the CyberTipline, and to law enforcement or other authorities where required by law.
• We cooperate with lawful requests from authorities investigating child endangerment.

We aim to acknowledge child-safety mail within one business day. For emergencies involving a child in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
