COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Version 1.3. BRUH is a strictly platonic friendship and community app for adults 18 and over, in beta in Los Angeles. These guidelines are the same standard published in section 4 of our Terms of Service, restated here so anyone can read them without an account.

1. Scope (Version 1.3)

These guidelines apply everywhere on BRUH: profiles, the Local Board, group, community and organization spaces, messages, events and meetups. They are identical to Terms of Service section 4, Community Guidelines — Version 1.3. Reading this page does not change or replace any acceptance you have already recorded.

2. Platonic and adults only

BRUH is not a dating or hookup app. Romantic and sexual pursuit, sexual solicitation and unsolicited explicit content are prohibited. You must be at least 18 years old to use BRUH, and there is no version of BRUH for people under 18.

3. What we remove you for

BRUH prohibits, and will remove you for:

Harassment, bullying, stalking, doxxing, threats or intimidation.
Hate speech or content promoting violence or discrimination against a protected class.
Spam, scams, fraud, solicitation of money, and multi-level marketing.
Illegal activity of any kind, including drug sales, prostitution and trafficking.
Sexual solicitation, unsolicited explicit content, and non-consensual sexual content.
All forms of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), as defined in Privacy Policy §6 and on our Child Safety page.
Impersonation, fake profiles, misrepresenting your age or identity, and bot or automated activity.
Sharing another member's private information, photos or messages without consent.

4. Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation

Violation of the CSAE standard results in an immediate permanent ban. Confirmed child sexual abuse material is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline and to law enforcement where required by law. 5. Reporting and blocking

Every profile, post, message and meetup has a Report and a Block control.

A report requires a reason — including “Child safety concern”, “Underage participant” and “Sexual content or solicitation” — and allows optional details.
Your identity as reporter is never shown to the reported member or to other members.
Moderators can resolve a report, mute a member, remove content, or ban an account.
Blocking is two-way: a blocked member can no longer message you, see your content, or appear to you.

6. Meeting people safely

Your exact location is never shared. BRUH shows an approximate, randomized pin and coarse distance ranges, and you can hide your location entirely.
Meet in public places first and tell someone where you are going.
Keep conversations on BRUH until you are comfortable.
BRUH does not run government-ID checks, biometric age estimation or background checks — never assume a member has been verified.

7. Enforcement

Depending on severity and history we may warn you, remove content, limit features, suspend your account, or permanently ban you. Serious violations — CSAE, credible threats, trafficking — result in immediate permanent removal without warning.
